Remembering our Drum General, Orville 'Arf' Pitney - Part 3
Thanks to Mark Wade for sending the following photos from the Celebration of Arf’s life, held at Bay View Boat Club, February 2, 2003.
The flag at Bay View Boat Club was at
half-mast for Arf's wake.
Inside, there was plenty of good
cheer, as Arf’s friends remembered him.
There was ample food and drink for
everyone.
Carmen was in good spirits!
This guy remembered Arf, too.
At the appointed hour, we assembled
outside for the ceremonies.
Several band members eulogized Arf.
Joey took his turn at the mike.
Bill Todd had a few words to say.
