Castroville Atrichoke Festival - 2002 - Part 1

May 19, 2002

We had a full bus for the journey to Castroville, and the ride was made very enjoyable by the many eats and other refreshments brought on board by fellow band members. However, special mention must go to Carmen and Barry for the superb Bloody Marys enjoyed by all. The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but we were in good form and managed to earn First Place in the Novelty Band category. After the parade, we enjoyed the artichoke treats and barbeque in the Festival grounds, and then made our usual memorable appearance at Mike's Baseball Bar in Greater Downtown Castroville.
